Your Kigali City Tour begins at 8:00 AM with a brief introduction at your hotel. From there, we set off for an exciting day of exploration, uncovering the highlights and hidden gems of Kigali. As you travel, you’ll be surrounded by the lush green landscapes of the city, lined with palm trees and vibrant traffic lights, creating a picturesque backdrop for your journey.

The first stop will be Mount Kigali, where you’ll enjoy a scenic view of Kigali. From the summit, take in panoramic views of the entire city, capturing the beauty of Kigali from above. After descending, we’ll drive to Nyamirambo, one of Kigali’s oldest and most colorful neighborhoods. Here, you’ll embark on a one-hour walking tour with the Nyamirambo Women’s Association. As you stroll through the area, you’ll learn a few words in Kinyarwanda, interact with local vendors selling fresh produce, and meet friendly locals eager to share their stories.

At the end of the walk, reward yourself with a taste of traditional Rwandan cuisine at a local eatery.

At 2:00 PM, we’ll visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where over 250,000 victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi are honored. This moving site provides an opportunity to reflect on the resilience and strength of Rwanda’s people.

Next, we’ll head to Kimironko Market, a bustling hub where you can experience traditional Rwandan culture. Explore the market’s vibrant stalls filled with fresh produce, handmade crafts, and other local goods.

Your tour concludes at 5:00 PM with a return to your hotel, where you can relax and reflect on the day’s experiences.
