Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
Upon landing in Kigali International Airport, you will be received by a Unique Rwanda Vacation Experts tour guide, who will brief you on the 4 Days Rwanda Primate Tracking Safari and transfer you to Volcanoes National Park. Pass through the most fascinating wide open of Rwanda in to Ruhengere, this short drive on smooth street will take you up to 2.5 hours. Arrive at the lodge in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking – Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
You will have an early morning breakfast at the lodge and head to the park headquarters for briefing from the ranger guides, who will allocate you a group and guides before to go to begin the gorilla tracking activity. The journey can be very intense but it is quite rewarding once to locate the gorillas. You will spend one hour with the gorillas while you take photographs as you observe them move up and about. After the trekking, move to Nyungwe Forest National Park, arriving at the lodge in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe Forest National Park
Wake up early, have breakfast and go for chimpanzee trekking. During trekking you could detect other primates like the colobus monkeys in addition to review different occupants of the forest like birds and butterflies. Return to the lodge for lunch, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Return to Kigali – Departure.

You will then be transferred back to Kigali with lunch enroute ready to catch up with your evening out bound flight to your next destination.
