Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
A Unique Rwanda Vacation Experts company representative will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala early morning and take you on a journey to Kibale Forest National Park. Drive to Fort Portal through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just under the Rwenzori Mountains. Make a stopover in Fort Portal for lunch at Gardens Restaurant, thereafter drive to Kibale with an afternoon crater walk of Nyinambuga.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After your early morning breakfast at the lodge in Kibale, you will go for a half day search of chimpanzee and 10 other primates including phoestes, red Colobus, blues, and red tailed and grey cheeked mangabey. The guide will provide detailed explanations, not only on primates, but also on all the forest fauna and flora and will ensure that your walk is both informative and enjoyable. This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primates at close quarters. After lunch, proceed to Bwindi via Queen Elizabeth National Park and here you may spot many wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes, among others. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. Continue to your lodge for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 3: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Experience
Wake up early, have breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guides. Rmember to carry with you; trekking jungle boots and rain jacket with your walking sticks. Gorilla trekking is unpredictable. It’s difficult to determine how long it will take you, this can take a heavy hike. The gorilla tracking excursion can take from 2 up to 8 hours. Be ready to walk along distance in steep and muddy conditions, the floor is always wet. Time permitting after your Gorilla trek in the afternoon you will head for a community foot safari to discover and explore the local community, understanding their ways of life, receive some cultural performances.

Day 4: Return to Kampala – Departure
Start off your day with breakfast ready for a long drive back to Kampala with a stopover at your choice of local hotel for your lunch enroute and at the Equator crossing line in Masaka for photography before returning to Kampala or Entebbe Airport arriving very late in the evening.
