Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
You will be picked from your hotel in Kampala by a Unique Rwanda Vacation Experts company representative, who will take you on a journey to Kibale Forest National Park, the home of chimpanzees in Uganda. Have lunch at Gardens Restaurant in Fort Portal and proceed to Kibale, arriving in the evening in time for a crater walk of Nyinambuga.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
An early morning breakfast ready for a chimpanzee walk in to the jungles of Kibale Forest National Park, reputable of having the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. The half day search for chimpanzees and other primates including phoestes, Red-Colobus, Blues, Red-tailed and grey cheeked Mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies and many small insects. The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates, but also on all the forest’s fauna and flora, ensuring that your walk is informative, enjoyable and excellent for viewing bird life and primates in close quarters. After lunch, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an evening game drive.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
An early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile makes visitors encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds. Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park for an outstanding game safari to spot the tree climbing lions and other rare wildlife with lunch in Ishasha. Continue to your lodge in Bwindi, arriving in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking Experience
Have an early morning breakfast at the lodge in Bwindi and report to the park headquarters for briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guides. You will be assigned a tracking group and together with the rangers, you will enter the forest in search of the gorillas. The gorilla tracking excursion can take from 2 up to 8 hours. Be ready to walk along distance in steep and muddy conditions, the floor is always wet. Time permitting after your gorilla trek in the afternoon you will head for a community foot safari to discover and explore the local community, understanding their ways of life, receive some cultural performances. Overnight stay and dinner at your lodge.

Day 5: Return to Kampala – Departure
Start off your day with breakfast ready for a long drive back to Kampala with a stopover at your choice of local hotel for your lunch enroute and at the Equator crossing line in Masaka for photography before returning to Kampala or Entebbe Airport arriving very late in the evening.
