Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Tarangire National Park
You will be picked from your hotel in Arusha by a Unique Rwanda Vacation Experts company representative who will brief you on the safari tour and then transfer you to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is one of East Africa’s best places to see elephants up close, hosting about 4000 elephants and is home to the second highest concentration of wildlife in Tanzania, after the Serengeti Ecosystem. Other animals to spot include; giraffes, buffalos, lions, leopards, baboons, antelopes among many others. Head to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day in Tarangire National Park
You will spend the whole of day two in Tarangire National Park exploring more of wildlife in this park. The Tarangire River is the only permanent water source in the park, during the dry season, attracting numerous animals to its banks. Herds of buffalo and wildebeests, as well as elephants, are frequently sighted along the river. We also keep an eye out for various birds on our game drives, as Tarangire is also home to over 100 bird species.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park
You will have an early morning breakfast and head to Lake Manyara National Park. Travel through culturally diverse Mto Wa Mbu village. The national park is dominated by the Great Rift Lake of Lake Manyara, a shallow alkaline lake attracting numerous water birds. Lake Manyara is best known for the huge seasonal flamingo flocks as well as tree climbing lions, often spotted sleeping in the trees. Other animals to spot include; elephants, hippos, buffalos, banded mongooses, monkeys among many others.
Later in the afternoon, you will exit Lake Manyara National Park and head to Karatu, arriving at the lodge in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Crater

Make a stop for lunch and later proceed to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. This scenic journey reveals the vast rolling plains of Serengeti dotted by rocky hills. Arrive at the lodge in Serengeti National Park in the evening in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
