Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Transfer to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked by a Unique Rwanda Vacation Experts company representative from your hotel in Arusha, who will take you on a 3 hour journey to Tarangire National Park. This park is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of the Tarangire River. Spot many animal species including; wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands, and so many more. Proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

You will have an early morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on a 5 hour journey to Serengeti National Park. You will spot endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Proceed to the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Enjoy a game drive en-route to the lodge. Arrive in time for lunch and go on an afternoon game drive in the world-famous Serengeti National Park.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive in the Serengeti National Park. The wildebeest migration normally pass through the area in April and May, however the Seronera area is within reach of both the southern plains and the Western Corridor. Animals in the park include; elephant, buffalo, gazelle, zebra, lion and a variety of other predators and herbivores can be seen here all year round. Explore the range of different habitats that include swamps, woodland, soda lakes and the world famous Serengeti short grass plains.

Day 4: Western Corridor of Serengeti National Park

Central Serengeti – Western Corridor Serengeti Non game-viewing travel time: 2 hours Distance: 110 km You will have an early morning breakfast and go on a two hour journey towards the western reaches of the Serengeti National Park, also known as the Western Corridor. You will do a game drive en-route from the Seronera area to the Western Corridor area.

Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro National Park

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive inside the crater. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as prides of lion that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingos and a variety of water birds. Other animals in the park include; leopard, cheetah, hyena among many others.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park – Return to Arusha – Departure.

Check out of the lodge in Ngorongoro after an early morning breakfast and go on a two hour journey to Lake Manyara National Park. When you approach it from the east, the Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon forming an impressive backdrop to the lake. In the tall trees of the ground water forest, monkeys leap from branch to branch, and on the escarpment, elephants stand in the shade. Other animals frequently seen are zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and others. Later, drive back to Arusha to catch up with your evening flight back home.
